    Description

    Addaction Herefordshire are looking for a pro-active individual to support the delivery of Herefordshire Young persons service, an exciting substance misuse service.

    The service delivers psychosocial drug and alcohol interventions to young people (11-21yrs) to help support changes to substance misuse.  This is an exciting opportunity to work in our Herefordshire Substance Misuse Team to effect and inspire change in young people and families affected by substance misuse. The successful candidate must have excellent communication and engagement skills combined with the ability to work well under pressure. The post-holder will be responsible for undertaking assessments, entering data,  brief and structured interventions and delivering group work that address the full range of psychosocial substance misuse related needs of young People.

    The post holder will work as part of a substance misuse team and in close partnership with other service providers to ensure that young people get the most effective and integrated package of care. The post holder will also be expected to travel throughout Herefordshire ensuring accessibility of treatment for young people.
