We have an exciting opportunity to join County Durham Drug and Alcohol Recovery Service.
We welcome you to apply for this exciting new role to design and deliver effective learning and development interventions in support of the County Durham Drug and Alcohol Recovery Service’s stakeholder and workforce development strategy.
This post will work across the county within our established integrated drug and alcohol treatment service.
In this role you will:
- Lead a team of trainers to deliver effective, evidence-based training delivery programmes to a range of staff and stakeholders in the subject areas of addictions, domestic abuse complex needs and homelessness.
- You will lead a team of trainers to deliver effective, evidence-based training delivery programmes to a range of staff and stakeholders in the subject areas of addictions, domestic abuse complex needs and homelessness.
- You will also manage, mentor, coach and ensure the development of staff reporting to you. This includes involvement in delivering appropriate training, recruitment, induction, monitoring performance, managing absence and carrying out performance and development reviews/ supervisions.
- Provide training and education to domestic abuse, housing services and social care within County Durham so that they can identify those requiring support from drug and alcohol recovery services
- Develop a needs-led comprehensive training plan through workforce needs analysis and feedback from stakeholders whilst also taking into account new and emerging training opportunities.
