Description
Waythrough launched in October 2024 following the merger of Humankind and Richmond Fellowship.
Our vision is to break down the barriers that stop people getting the support they need to live a life they value. We tackle poverty and disadvantage in communities, through mental health, drug and alcohol, housing and related support.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Recovery Coordinator to support Waythrough's service delivery within Reconnected to Health in HMP Holme House within the Therapeutic Community.
The Therapeutic Community Programme is a long standing and highly valued element of prison-based substance misuse treatment within HMP Holme House Stockton on Tees.
The TC offers unique opportunities for DART service users to progress their individual recovery journey within a dedicated prison residential setting of 69 beds within a Waythrough programme that is staffed seven days per week - therefore weekend working will be required in this role hours are 07:45 - 16:00 Saturday and Sunday.
The programme itself lasts between six- and twelve-months dependant upon sentence length, staff working within the TC must reflect the ethos of the community through delivery of effective facilitation skills.
