Description
Waythrough launched in October 2024 following the merger of Humankind and Richmond Fellowship.
Our vision is to break down the barriers that stop people getting the support they need to live a life they value. We tackle poverty and disadvantage in communities, through mental health, drug and alcohol, housing and related support.
Working in partnership, Waythrough and the Bridge Project, are providing temporary accommodation on behalf of Bradford Metropolitan District Council as part of their Bradford Temporary Accommodation Service. Our service supports women who present as homeless to the Local Authority.
The service will support women around their housing needs, this includes: applying for permanent housing, multi-agency working, signposting, completing risk assessments and more. Tenancies will be in Bradford and Keighley supporting women who were homeless and have a history or risk of offending now living in temporary accommodation.
The service will sit alongside our established Bradford housing support service No Second Night Out, more information can be found here - Bradford No Second Night Out
As Team Leader you will report to the Service Manager and have line management responsibility for a team of Support Coordinators, who will support up to 25 women.
The role is responsible for managing our brand new service and ensuring the effective delivery of the service to meet the needs of those supported.
You will play a key role in providing leadership, guidance, and strategic direction, ensuring high standards of care and service delivery are consistently maintained.
