    Description

    An opportunity has arisen to recruit a Team Leader to our HMMP Risley team. The role involves working within the integrated Prison and Community service contract, which includes HMMP Risley, HMYOI Thorn Cross, and the Bold Street based community service.

    Skills

    Warrington Pathways to Recovery Prisons team provides a range of evidence based interventions for those experiencing difficulties with drugs and or alcohol within a Prisons setting. The service aims to provide wherever possible the same treatment opportunities enjoyed by our service users in the community. This includes medically assisted treatment, harm minimisation, individualised case coordination, psychosocial interventions, and diversionary activities including peer support, guidance and advice on access to training and employment and family focused interventions.

    Our mission is to enable and empower individuals to achieve full recovery and independence, and the service works in partnership with Commissioners, Prison health care partners and the Prison establishment to achieve the best possible outcomes for the men in our care.

    We are looking for a pro-active, determined and resourceful individual who has the ability to lead and inspire the team. The role requires the effective management of a high quality, aspirational recovery services tailored to meet the needs of a large, Category C prison. The role also offers the opportunity to join a dynamic management team from CGLs wider Warrington Pathways Service.

    Experience Requirements

    You will lead the team based at HMMP Risley Prison supported by the Prison Service manager, and the Services manager, and there will be a need to establish strong working relationships with other key stakeholders and providers within the prison establishment to ensure effective and robust pathways are in place and holistic packages of care are developed for service users.

    The post-holder will be required to work flexibly across operational sites and within an agreed number of hours to maintain the most appropriate level of service provision. This may include evening and weekend working.
