
Description
As a Support Worker within Delphi’s Drug and Alcohol Recovery Service in HMP Manchester, you will work collaboratively with the integrated team to provide clinical and psychosocial support to individuals experiencing issues with Drugs and Alcohol in a secure setting.
This is a really rewarding opportunity where you will be able to provide support to individuals though their recovery journeys, enabling real change. You will be responsible for managing new client assessments, ensuring needs are considered and supported appropriately with robust plans in place to evidence the support, placing the individual at the centre of the decision making.
You will be part of an integrated psychosocial and clinical service and will work alongside colleagues to ensure fully integrated service provision.
This includes acting as a second signer for the dispensing of medication to our service users, completing induction, assessments and providing harm reduction advice to individuals accessing our service.
In your role, you will take an innovative approach, including the delivery of holistic interventions such as creative therapy, acupuncture, and motivational events.
You will work closely with other services to ensure clients are able to achieve their recovery goals, positive outcomes and community re-integration, ensuring that individuals are supported and motivated throughout their recovery journey.
