Description
Waythrough launched in October 2024 following the merger of Humankind and Richmond Fellowship.
Our vision is to break down the barriers that stop people getting the support they need to live a life they value. We tackle poverty and disadvantage in communities, through mental health, drug and alcohol, housing and related support.
A new opportunity has arisen to be part of South Tyneside Adult Recovery Service (STARS) working closely with South Tyneside and Sunderland Foundation Trust (STSFT) to support service users within the hospital environment to access structured treatment and become free from addiction.
STARS is a drug and alcohol recovery service delivered by Humankind in partnership with Spectrum CIC.
We provide a range of clinical and psychosocial interventions to support individuals to develop the life skills, and confidence to achieve and maintain recovery and abstinence from their substance misuse, and live healthier lives within their community.
As a Recovery Navigator you will provide an efficient and effective response to all who contact your service including professionals, service users, family members or carers.
You will provide advice, information as well as assessment for those entering treatment, supporting and encouraging engagement and recovery goals.
