Waythrough launched in October 2024 following the merger of Humankind and Richmond Fellowship.

Our vision is to break down the barriers that stop people getting the support they need to live a life they value. We tackle poverty and disadvantage in communities, through mental health, drug and alcohol, housing and related support.

Drink Coach delivers brief treatment online to people across the UK, either as fee paying customers or free as part of commissioned contracts. Drink Coach was designed to make access to alcohol treatment easier for those experiencing stigma offering a convenient and confidential way to access support. Drink Coach operates 7 days per week from 7am to 10pm at night connecting people to an alcohol specialist online.

Drink Coach uses a motivational interviewing health based coaching approach. Brief treatment consists of 4-6 sessions, typically lasting 20-40 minutes each. You will work as part of group of alcohol specialists to deliver this service.

Drink Coach Sessional deliver sessions remotely from a secure location. All appointments are managed via an online calendar with each Drink Coach being responsible and reliable to manage their calendars and appointments. Drink Coaches will also collect data and use the case management system System One to record notes.
