Description
Are you a recovery practitioner looking for a new challenge and career development?
Come and join us as a Psychosocial Interventions Lead in Surrey, making a difference and improving the lives of those with drug and alcohol issues!
This is an exciting opportunity in one of Via’s fully integrated flagship services.
The Psychosocial Interventions Lead role is an opportunity to get involved in and learn more about the strategic, operational and management activities of substance misuse treatment, helping you develop your portfolio of expertise and experience for future career advancement.
You will hold a smaller caseload of some of the service's most complex and vulnerable people. Their complexities will include physical and mental health, homelessness and insecure housing, domestic violence and abuse, and isolation.
Case management will involve providing regular, focussed support and advocacy, risk management, engaging and liaising with other services to provide wrap-around care, and assertively and creatively trying to re-engage individuals who are disengaging.
You will support the development and implementation of evidence-based group work programmes as well as lead on service projects and events that enables people participation and raise awareness.
We are seeking committed, organised and highly motivated candidates, with an in-depth knowledge and experience of the challenges affecting people with substance misuse and related health and wellbeing issues.
