We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Part time Complex Needs Recovery Worker to join our team at Focus.
Our service supports 28 men aged between 18 and 72 who have a history of forensic mental health issues with co morbidity, often alongside co-occurring substance misuse disorders.
The residents range from high-risk to low-risk, and our aim is to provide tailored support to help them reintegrate into the community. You will be expected to manage the CCTV remotely covering 6 locations.
You will need teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with a range of professionals, including social workers, probation officers, mental health practitioners, GPs, pharmacists, substance misuse specialists, housing officers, benefits advisers, community organisations, and police and legal professionals. We are seeking a dedicated recovery worker to join our pool of night staff.
If you are passionate about supporting vulnerable men with a history of forensic mental health needs and comorbid substance misuse disorders – helping them to live fulfilling lives without judgement – and you have an empathetic approach, we would love to hear from you.
