    Change Grow Live, New Direction is an Integrated Recovery Service in Lewisham. It provides rapid access to a range of interventions and treatment options for adults experiencing problems with drugs and/or alcohol, promoting a focus on recovery and independence. Individuals will need to be motivated, enthusiastic, committed and driven in order to meet the expectations of these challenging and rewarding roles.


    The post holder will oversee the provision of comprehensive health and wellbeing assessments for service users from the nursing team and along with health promotion and appropriate prevention and harm reduction strategies and interventions in order to; address and reduce physical and mental/emotional health related harms associated with drug & alcohol use. They will also lead on the delivery of interventions to combat blood borne virus and other infectious diseases by implementing an immunisation and vaccination scheme whilst providing professional advice and information to others in the management and care of individuals with drug and alcohol issues.
