We are looking for a Night Recovery Worker to join our service in Croydon.

This is a female only service, providing accommodation based support to people referred by South London and Maudsley Trust (SLaM).

You will support in addressing the complex needs of our residents and prepare them for independent living, providing support on the night shifts. You will create and run various activities for engagement to support in creating an environment which is psychologically informed, to help our residents feel empowered to achieve positive outcomes.

You will carry out regular welfare checks, and ensure the night service runs smoothly, supporting with any challenges which may arise and being a main point of contact for the residents.

You will be required to carry out various administrative duties, as well as resident support whilst on shift. You will receive and provide handovers with day staff and managers to ensure a seamless service is being delivered from day to night.

Due to the nature of the service, it is an occupational requirement that the post holder is female and the post is therefore exempt from the provisions of the Equality Act 2010 in terms of Schedule 9, Part 1, and Paragraph 1 of the Act.
