An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Turning Point’s Leicester Substance Use Services as a female specialist Criminal Justice Recovery Worker.
As a female specialist Criminal Justice Recovery Worker you will work flexibly across Leicester city supporting women to engage in substance use treatment. Working closely with the Probation Services, Prisons and Police to provide a rapid, tailored response to women that we support their recovery and rehabilitation.

As a Criminal Justice Recovery Worker, you will act as ‘key workers’ to a caseload of service users who have been involved with the Criminal Justice System. They may have been released from custody with Licence conditions or given a community order to address their substance use.
You will be working in partnership with key multi agencies including the Probation Service, Police and Prison service.
The role includes maintaining regular contact with your clients, offering advice, information and psycho-social interventions as well as providing assessments, risk management planning and working closely with our clinical staff around prescribing needs and other partner agencies.
A driving licence and car access is essential, and you will be required to use your own car to travel between sites on a regular basis (expenses will be provided.)
