We are looking for a Deputy Service Manager to join our team based in Croydon, providing leadership and line management to a team of night staff which is around 10 people in total.

You will provide support and supervision sessions at night, and general leadership to the team so they feel empowered to be productive and perform well within their roles.

You will further ensure a quality service is delivered in line with our contractual requirements to the residents.

You will be responsible for creating a psychologically informed environment (PIE) with person centred support during all hours. You will work closely with the day teams to ensure a smooth handover from the day to night.

This service is a Forensic Mental Health provision for 27 people across 4 sites in Croydon. For your own personal safety, you will require to have access to your own transport as you will need to travel between our 4 sites during the night shift to provide managerial support to the teams.

The teams support our residents with person centred support, to empower them to overcome their personal barriers with their mental health, to have greater independence and fulfilled living.

The service is responsible for holding various activities, group sessions, and one to one support to enable residents to build their personal skills and experiences to achieve their goals.

37.5 hours per week Monday to Sunday, working across a rota which will include day and night shifts as we provide a 24 hour service.
