An exciting opportunity to join a skilled and passionate multi-disciplinary team delivering a substance misuse service alongside partner agencies. Horizon delivers support to Blackpool residents with their drug and alcohol use.

Delivery is across two sites – Winstone House and Lighthouse, our specialist alcohol service. We are looking for an experienced counsellor to facilitate our community rehabilitation programme.

Delivered over 3 stages, the programme provides psycho-education, coping strategies, thinking skills and behavioural change enabling clients to take control of their life and recovery journey.

You will work closely with the counselling and interventions team to provide assessments, 1-1 sessions and group delivery, involving partner agencies and key workers. You will also have the opportunity to provide therapeutic interventions to the wider service and help shape and develop the psychosocial offer.
